ADVENTURE PROGRAMS
Challenge yourself and your organization with our new and exciting adventure programs! These programs are meant to sharpen critical thinking skills, improve problem-solving abilities, build self-confidence and gain self-esteem. The Bunker Hill Environmental Education Center offers programs in the following areas:
·
Team Building/Group Initiatives
·
Climbing Tower
·
High Ropes Course
Can your team cross the shark-infested waters and make it to the other island safely? Can you survive the spider’s web? This program is designed to expand the fundamentals of teamwork. Students will participate in a variety of simulated outdoor adventures that build problem solving by working through challenging obstacles. The 1-3 hour session will help to build: communication, cooperation, commitment, trust, and teamwork skills.

The Climbing Tower stands twenty (20) feet tall and is two-sided. It provides physical challenges for participants and is an important tool for building self-esteem. The purpose of this component is to enhance an individual’s ability to overcome obstacles and become a successful risk taker. A successful climb may take a participant to the top of the Tower or just a few steps. Participants will gain self-confidence, heightened self-esteem, increased coordination and improved agility.

High Ropes
The High Ropes course is the most intensive component of the adventure programs at Bunker Hill EEC. It provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to face and overcome obstacles and challenges. The maximum benefit gained by participating in this element is self-esteem. The High Ropes course is done as a follow-up activity to Team Building/Initiatives or the Climbing Tower.
