FRIENDS OF BUNKER
HILL ENVIRONMENTAL
The “Friends” of Bunker Hill Environmental Education Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization incorporated for the purpose of creating an awareness of the scientific and educational programs and services offered by the center.
The “Friends” are dedicated to:
● Providing volunteer support and outreach to the local community
● Supporting the center through fundraising activities
● Serving as a liaison to the Franklin Township Community
● Providing advice and guidance to the center staff
As a member of the “Friends” you are entitled to receive invitations to various seasonal fund-raising events. Special project days are also scheduled periodically. In addition the “Friends” sponsor the annual Earth Day Celebration. For more information on our special events check our special events calendar on this website. We look forward to seeing you, your families and friends at these events.
The annual membership dues are used to defray expenses of special equipment, nature displays and environmental education programs, which are provided for the community. Please feel free to email us with suggestions on the types of programs and events you would like to see the “Friends” provide for the community.
If you have special talents to share please feel free to email, call or write the center. We are always looking for volunteers to help with programs.
