SGS Wins Behavior Management Choices Award

On October 12th, 7 students from  Sampson Smith School were transported by limosuine to the Easton Avenue Burger King where they were treated to any lunch they wanted.  They were winners in the schoolwide behavior management program known as Choices which provides incentives for positive student behavior.  Their names were picked in a lottery and found to have no demerits which put them into diamond status.

The exciting event had news coverage from The Home News on Thursday 11-1.  The limosuine service was provided, free of charge, by Cardinal Limosuine Service and the meal was compliments of Mack Hall manager of Burger King.  This is the third time these services have been provided.

The Choices Program, which clearly defines expected student behavior, has proven to be an effective tool to improve the educational atmosphere at SGS and to enhance student's motivation to, as our motto says, to reach for the stars.
