Your PTSO needs you:


We are in need of the volunteers for the Voter Registration committee.  Meetings are held with the BOE Superintendent during the day, so daytime availability is a must.  You would work with Tamiko Neal, co-chair-she is not able to attend the meetings because she is a teacher.

Please begin to consider running for a  SGS PTSO Board position for the 2008-2009 school year!  Nominations will be accepted at upcoming meetings.  You can also consider nominating someone you have worked with who you believe would make a good leader in the PTSO. Please note that MOST of the board members for 2007-2008 are parents with careers. If we did it, you can too!  It really is all about putting together a TEAM of dedicated parents making it less overwhelming for the whole.  So think about it, maybe next year you can be a team leader!

(September and May meetings will be held on the second Thursday).

 

We meet in the SGS Band Room @ 7:30pm, unless posted otherwise.

The SGS PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization) Executive Board wishes to extend a warm welcome to you and your child /children for 2007-2008.

 

Thank you for supporting the Franklin Township Public Schools PTSO’s.  The PTSO does its best in each school to enhance the educational experience of each child. It is time to begin planning the opportunities your child can experience with Parents, Teachers, and Administrators. Together we are partners in our children’s education. Our PTSO provides programs, activities, services, and input to the Board of Education. Without the involvement of so many, what we already accomplished and look forward to achieving over the remainder of the school year would not be possible.  If you are able to give just one hour or decide to chair a committee, the impact on your child is immeasurable.

 

Now is the time for you to get involved.

 

Please share your ideas & suggestions. PTSO meetings will be one of the best places for monthly updates on the life of our school, including the activities in which your children will be participating.  Board of Education highlights, district-wide initiatives, & school election information will be shared at PTSO meetings whenever possible.

 

All PTSO meetings are open to ALL parents & guardians. To join, just click on the Membership form link below, print and fill out the form, and return the completed form to school with your student as soon as possible.
