Since G-Suite is platform independent, these tools allow for a consistent experience across the district for staff and students. There is no longer a need to save documents on a thumb drive. In Google Drive, the documents are saved automatically and include multiple revisions. Since the platform is a cloud based productivity suite, students will be able to collaborate live on shared documents. Peer editing and live collaboration become a reality with these tools. G-Suite is used by many K – 12 schools and universities across the state of New Jersey. It is important for our students to remain competitive and connected in the 21st century. Technology has become interwoven in many facets of our lives. It is vital that our students have experience with these tools in an educational setting.
