October at Franklin Middle School

Our School District recognizes the importance of continually fostering a positive school climate. The fundamental work being done to reduce incidences of violence and harassment, intimidation and bullying (HIB) within the schools is paramount and aids in providing students a safe environment in order to attain academic success and grow as individuals.

In accordance with the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act ( P.L. 2101,c122) and N.J.S.A. 18A;36-5.1,Franklin Middle School has implemented various initiatives offering ongoing social and emotional learning and character education to maintain a positive school climate and create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. as well as age appropriate instruction focusing on preventing HIB.

Franklin Middle School is a POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION AND SUPPORT School, whose mission is to inspire student’s social, emotional and academic success, create and maintain an effective learning environment and build a positive and respectful culture for all

The Student Assistance Program of the Franklin Township School district works to ensure the social, emotional needs of all students and families are met through the ongoing supports and programs not only during the month of October but throughout the school year.
