"As long as you are in my life, I am not going to let quitting be easy for you. I am going to challenge you, confront you, push you, and coach you. You can whine. You can throw a tantrum. You can shout and stomp and cry. And the next day, guess what? I will be here waiting- with a smile and patient to give you a fresh start. Because you are worth it." -C. Mielke
This January will be my 8th year teaching and I absolutely love what I do. What have I found to be critical attributes for a smooth school year? Communication, individualized instruction, a balance between work and play, and an encouraging classroom environment.
Just a little background about myself: I grew up and attended school in Piscataway, where I coach Special Olympics, participating in band from 5th grade on. I enjoy yoga, reading, going to the movies, photogrpahy and nature!
