Teens Achieving Goals (TAG)
  • Teens Achieving Goals (T.A.G.) at Franklin High 2020- 2021

Teens Achieving Goals (TAG) is a school-based counseling/case management program for Franklin High School students focused on reducing the rate of unintended teen pregnancy and STIs. The TAG program is operated by Zufall Health Center located in Somerville, NJ.

The goal of TAG is to provide teenagers with information needed to make healthy decisions related to life situations, reproductive health and to better access health care services.

TAG provides students with the following services:

    • Individual, group and family counseling sessions
    • Referrals to community agencies for free services
    • Education on topics surrounding reproductive and sexual health

The TAG Leadership Group seeks applicants each year who are interested in learning accuratereproductive health information and in developing leadership skills.  TAG Leaders must commit to regular meetings throughout the school year to obtain the knowledge and confidence needed to educate their peers so that Franklin students have the information needed to make responsible and safe choices around sex and relationships.

Parental consent is required for students under the age of 16 who would like to participate in the TAG program.
