Ted's Instructional Technology Tip of the Week:
Do you like the idea of using Google Classroom with small groups, but don't want to check off each student in the group? Consider using a separate Google Classroom for each group! Remember, just because it is named "Classroom" doesn't mean it has to match your class lists or physical walls. Make Google Classroom work for you!
Myra's Instructional Technology Tip of the Week:
Explore Your Data With Google Sheets
Explore is a feature in Google Sheets that offers recommendations to the user on how to create charts and graphs. The Explore tool also identifies trends and patterns automatically from your data. And if you are not a fan of formulas, there is a feature in Explore that allows the user to ask a question with words, not formulas- to get answers about your data.
Open up a new or pre-existing Google Sheet, highlight some data and click the Explore icon at the bottom right of your document. The Explore tool will launch a window that will give formatting suggestions as well and some charts and analysis recommendations based on your data in your worksheet.
