Good Evening SGS Community,  Greetings from Principal Rutledge  Your weekly updates are included

We are hopeful that you and your families are remaining well. We transitioned into in person learning with our purple cohort and it has been great to welcome students into our building. Our week began and ended on a positive and productive note.

The partnership will speak to our school community about their backgrounds and experiences in navigating the college process as aspiring engineers. A message form the PTSO follows:

Teacher Appreciation Week is fast approaching! FMS PTSO would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the SGS and HSC staff for their efforts this school year.

FMS PTSO has celebrations planned at both campuses for the week of May 3rd -7th. Our staff will be treated to a food truck lunch after students are dismissed, and we're putting together tote bags filled with goodies to be raffled off to staff during the week.

Parents, can you help us make our teacher gifts more exciting, by donating 10 to 25 dollars gift cards to retailers like Amazon, Dunkin, Target, or local restaurants? Donated gift cards can be dropped off in the main office at either campus in an envelope marked PTSO. If you would rather donate cash so we can do the shopping, you can Venmo us @FMS-PTSO or PayPal.me/FMSPTSO. Thank you for your support!

Additionally, we remind our students to acknowledge the year-long efforts of their teachers during this week.

FMS PTSO thanks you in advance for your assistance in honoring our amazing FMS teachers and staff!

In recognition of Autism Awareness month, Dr Seuss said, "Why Fit In When We Were Born To Stand out." Let's make it a great week as we work hard in marking period 4.
