FPS Interim Principal: At the BOE meeting last week, the Board approved the appointment of Ms. Evelyn Rutledge as the Interim Principal of Franklin Park School.  Ms. Rutledge will be returning to FTPS on October 8, 2025 and current FPS Principal, Ms. Jennifer Stein will be leaving the district on October 10, 2025.  Before her retirement in 2023 Ms. Rutledge had served the students of Franklin in a variety of roles including principal of Hillcrest School and principal of the Sampson G. Smith Campus of Franklin Middle School. The interview process is underway for the new Franklin Park Principal.  Welcome back Ms. Rutledge!

The Board appointed Angela Pape as the new Principal of Franklin Park School.  Ms. Pape is currently serving as the Vice Principal of Claremont Elementary School and had previously served the students of Franklin Township Public Schools as an ESL teacher at Pine Grove Manor School.  Ms. Pape will officially start her tenure at FPS on December 16, 2025.  Congratulations Ms. Pape!
