Nutritious Meals Help Students Stay Focused and Successful in School!

Franklin Township Public Schools provides breakfast in the classroom and nutritious lunches. Families may qualify for free or reduced-cost meals through the NJ Expanded Income Equity Program.

How to Apply for Free or Reduced-Cost Meals

Create an account online through PaySchool Central to:

  • Complete the meal application

  • Manage meal account funds

  • Check remaining balances

  • Apply for free/reduced-price meals

Pick up a paper application at the Food Services Office, 2301 Route 27, Building 1, Somerset, NJ 08873.

Free/Reduced Price Meals are ONLY available for eligible households.

Submit completed and signed applications by emailing foodservices@franklinboe.org, faxing to 732-873-3983, or delivering to 2301 Route 27, Bldg. 1, Somerset, NJ 08873. For help, call 732-873-2400, Ext. 505 or 337. You’ll be notified of your child’s status. Until then, provide your child with a meal or meal money.
