This past Saturday, Franklin High School Dance Team ended their 2025-2026 competition season becoming NJCDCA State Champions in Game Day.

Congratulations to HSC student Jayla Morris on her performance of the national anthem at the Seton Hall University Basketball game this Saturday!

SEMI-FINALS bound.🏆 First time in school history for Traditional—and we’re just getting started. We are beyond proud of the work this team has put in all season long. Back to work. Locked in. Leaving it all on the mat. ✨💙💛

On Monday, CES Chefs participated in the 4th Annual Soup-er Bowl!!
Judges tried all the soups, which we all DELICIOUS, and voted on which was their top 3! in 3rd place, we had Ms. Gust with Cream of Caramelized Onion Soup, in 2nd place, we had a tie, Mrs. Boardman with Potato Leek Soup & Ms. Becker with Lasagna Soup. And in 1st place, we have Mrs. Esposito with Sweet Potato Coconut Curry Soup!! Mrs. Esposito won bragging rights & to park in Mr. Rivera's parking spot for the week!!
We also want to thank our families and staff for raising a generous amount of canned food and snacks for our CES Food Pantry!!

The FHS Robotics Club will host over 50 teams at our second VEX Robotics Competition. This free event is called "Push Back at the Colosseum," and matches begin at 9:15am! Concessions will be sold!

Awesome job, FHS Key Club! Shoutout to everyone who came to the meeting and helped make dog toys! 🐾 The Franklin Animal Shelter was super happy with the donation!


Congratulations to the girls swim team at the 2026 Skyland Conference Meet! Reese Van Beveren swam the 500 freestyle and went 6:45.69. Emily Cogdill swam the 500 freestyle and went 5:34.94, and 100 backstroke and went 1.10.00.

Congratulations to Latin students who won 2nd place at Montclair Classics Day! Kimmie, Kaitlin, Ericka, Nikhil, Alan, and Soren!

Every year, the NJ Music Educators Association holds a rigorous audition process to select the very best musicians in the state to perform in prestigious ensembles. We are proud to announce that this year, 4 FHS students were chosen on Guitar to the NJ Guitar Orchestra Youth Ensemble. These students completed a highly selective audition process and are recognized as the best guitarists in the state! We are very proud of their work and the efforts of FHS Guitar Teacher, Mr. Callahan, for his guidance. The students are Amani Berry, Haleigha Jones, Vidhuu Venkatesh, and Saish Nellutla.

Congrats to student artist Yohaydee Peña Rivera for designing the FHS 20th Anniversary Logo, and special thanks to Ms. Leidner, Ms. Czepiel, and Mr. Albano for their support. Stay tuned for more content and merch with our logo coming soon!


W2G Mentors delivered the donations from SGS to The Center for Great Expectations with love & cheer! Way to go W2G!

The Boys and Girls Bowling Teams are on a roll this season. Boys are 2-2 and Girls are 3-1. Come support the teams at a home match located at Circle Bowl in Piscataway.
