Every year, the NJ Music Educators Association holds a rigorous audition process to select the very best musicians in the state to perform in prestigious ensembles. We are proud to announce that this year, 4 FHS students were chosen on Guitar to the NJ Guitar Orchestra Youth Ensemble. These students completed a highly selective audition process and are recognized as the best guitarists in the state! We are very proud of their work and the efforts of FHS Guitar Teacher, Mr. Callahan, for his guidance. The students are Amani Berry, Haleigha Jones, Vidhuu Venkatesh, and Saish Nellutla.
Congrats to student artist Yohaydee Peña Rivera for designing the FHS 20th Anniversary Logo, and special thanks to Ms. Leidner, Ms. Czepiel, and Mr. Albano for their support. Stay tuned for more content and merch with our logo coming soon!

As you know the FHS Vocal Group, the Madrigals a/k/a Gold N' Blues, will be part of the WNBC Rockefeller Tree Lighting Show tonight, Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
The local coverage of the show begins at 7 pm, so tune in early to be sure to catch our students' performance.
We are so very proud of our FHS Vocal Group GoldN'Blues, also known as the Madrigals, who have WON the Star Choir Holiday Singing Competition sponsored by WNBC TV and Telemundo 47. The group will perform on the Christmas in Rockefeller Center Special which will be broadcast on NBC on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 8 pm. Congratulations to this talented group of Warriors!
